Ways We Can Help the Earth

• take shorter showers
• pick up trash when you see it & throw it away
• recycle plastic bags to do doggy duty
• buy fuel efficient cars
• re-use plastic bags for other purposes (don’t buy more…)
• plant a tree
• recycle paper and cans
• don’t pollute / don’t litter
• use reusable grocery bags
• realize what’s happening to the earth and find a way to help
• don’t waste everything, such as water and electricity
• clean up lakes and rivers so people can enjoy them more
• turn off lights if you don’t need them on
• be a smarter driver – carpool!
• use less tap water
• cut down fewer trees / use trees wisely
• don’t let the water run while brushing your teeth
• don’t use plastic bags in the first place
• ride a bike instead of driving a car
• volunteer to pick up trash
• use less paper / don’t waste paper
• eat locally grown food
